FISHING SEASON: November 1st to April 30th
Flight from Puerto Montt to Chaitén (45 minutes). Arrival at Chaitén airport. Pick up at the airport, welcome, and transfer to Matapiojo Lodge (35 minutes). Alternatively, you can arrive by other routes (ask your operator). Arrive at the lodge, drop off luggage and start your first day of fishing. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest. Enjoy the Hot Tub.
Box lunch during the excursion and dinner at the lodge are included. This fly-fishing program will have different fishing settings such as rivers, lakes, streams, and countless lagoons (many of them still unnamed).
In the morning, we will have breakfast and then set off on our fishing adventure. Today we will have a full day of fishing in the river with wonderful opportunities to catch Rainbow, Fario or Fontinalis trout (depending on the time of the year the other species we can find).
Return to the lodge to enjoy the hot tub. Box lunch during the excursion and dinner at the lodge are included.
Breakfast. Today we will have a full day of fishing in one of the many rivers, lakes, streams, and ponds with excellent opportunities to catch (depending on the time of year) good-sized Rainbow, Brown, Fontinalis trout, or Chinook salmon. We will enjoy a 40-minute trek.
